Ear Candling

Ear Candling (or coning) is an ancient treatment used for cleaning and purification of the ears. A 14" ear cone is created from a 1" wide strip of cotton dipped in wax and then wrapped into the shape of a narrow cone. The smaller end is placed very gently at the opening of the ear canal while the other end is lit. The burning creates a spiral of smoke that travels down the cone, into the ear canal and draws wax and impurities out into the cone. The process is very relaxing, gentle, and non-invasive. Ear Candling safely and naturally relieves conditions such as allergies, sinus problems, pain and pressure due to air travel, tinitus, itchy ears, candida, and minor ear infections. An herbal variety of ear cones are used as ear cones combined with essential oils are believed to work with the body on many levels. Their soothing yet stimulating affect promotes balance, awareness, clarity, and peace. Ear Candling is said to clear the way for other methods of healing. Additionally, a short energy balancing of the ear chakras is given to the client to seal the auric field and close the session.

NOTE: Ear candling should not be done if there are tubes in the ears or if there is a punctured eardrum.
